Bill and Hillary Clinton’s Niece Gets Government Assistance

| On 28, Apr 2010

Macy Clinton, niece of the former president, is on govt. assistance and working part-time to make ends meet.

This is actually a pretty sad, but all too common story in some communities.

Macy Clinton, the 18-year-old NIECE of Bill and Hillary Clinton is currently living on food stamps to get by. Before you go throwing rocks at the former first family, there’s a little drama behind this one.

She is the daughter of Bill’s brother, Roger.  After he got her mother, Martha Spivey, pregnant, he didn’t claim Macy until she was about six years old after a positive DNA test.  Mind you, this young lady was born in 1992, the same year her uncle was elected president.  The DNA test was confirmed when her uncle was still in office.  Amazing.  The long and short of it is that $30,000 in unpaid child support and a whole lot of empty promises later, Macy is living on government assistance!

In NO WAY am I pointing a finger at Bill or Hillary because that’s not their child nor their responsibility. Roger should have been man enough to provide for his own child and work with her mother.  But, in reality, even her cousin Chelsea makes a grip of money on her own as a consultant (absent her millionaire parents) – so somebody can give Macy something.  You know that’s what people are thinking when they read this story.  Roger did promise Macy a trust fund, but not  a cent has materialized from it.

It will be interesting to see how this will play out.  With the unnecessary media attention, Macy probably won’t be in that food stamp line much longer.  She is currently a cosmetology student and works a part-time job.

P.S. – And is it me, or does she look like a less glammed-up Julie from Desperate Housewives?
