Damn That Iceland Volcano!

Poor Europe! Most of her people are stranded under a cloud of ash from the Eyjafjallajokull volcano in remote Iceland that’s erupting for the second time in a month. And no, I’m not making up the name and I won’t help you pronounce it! I don’t know my damn self. lol…
This eruption is a lot different because it’s much longer in duration. It started last week and has barely let up. The winds are blowing ash southeastward toward mainland Europe, including England, France, Germany, Italy, and the like. At least 77% of all European flights have been grounded. As it stands, Spain is probably the best location to get in and out of, as they haven’t been as heavily affected by the ash.
The ash is affecting everyone from celebrities to common folk, and even the President of the United States. President Obama could not attend the funeral of the Polish president who died in a plane crash last weekend because of the volcanic ash. Animals, people, lakes, rivers, aND everything around the volcano and thousands of kilometers to the south have been affected.
You know the Europeans are PISSED OFF at the grounding of so much air travel. You can’t really blame them because the airlines are so disjointed about their response to the situation. But, flights are grounded for a very good reason. Since volcanic ash is so hot, if ANY of it gets into a planes engine it will paralyze it with a glassy substance. Enough molten glass is all but sure to bring the plane down from the sky. Not a good look at all.
