Get that TOYOTA to the Shop NOW!

Calling all Toyota drivers affected by the major recall due to cars not stopping because gas pedals are supposedly “sticking.”
This morning, Secretary of Transportation, Ray LaHood, testified to Congress about the recall. His advice to everyone driving an affected Toyota, “My advice is: If anybody owns one of these vehicles, stop driving it, take it to a Toyota dealer because they believe they have the fix for it.”
So, forget your lunch break, the kids, that soccer practice, or even your date tonight. Haul your a$$ to the nearest Toyota dealership IMMEDIATELY so you can quit scaring the rest of us on the highway! Everytime I see a Toyota now at a cruising speed, I almost want to drive on the shoulder of the road. Unfortunately, I know people who have personally been affected by this problem of Toyota’s not being able to stop. It’s serious, folks!
I would also like to point out that I don’t believe the gas pedals are really the issue here. From conversations with a friend and a glance at The Washington Post today, I found this article citing an issue with the electronic throttle in the engine. Hmmph, sounds like a cover up to me.
