Indictments Handed to Those Snooping Through Obama’s Records

If you get caught looking through President Obama’s confidential records and you will DEFINITELY have the book thrown at you!
Some Department of Education contractors in Iowa are in hot water in federal court in regards to Obama’s student loan records. While on the job, they snooped through POTUS’s records which is a big no-no and breach of security. This happened between 2007-2009, during his rise from senator, to president-elect, then POTUS.
The grand jury in U.S. District Court in Davenport, Iowa handed out indictments to nine people. They will be arraigned in federal court on May 24. They are charged with exceeding authorized computer access. They could get up to a year each in the slammer. They could also face up to $100,000 in fines. Wow!
I wonder what these people were really thinking as they looked through his records? It’s one thing to say, “Hey, let me see if I can find Obama’s tax records?” (i.e., public info). But, sensitive information like loan amounts, SSNs, income, etc. is off limits and I am sure they signed agreements at work saying they wouldn’t breach the access they had been given. It doesn’t make sense. Were they going to CALL the president to chat over tea about his now paid-off student loans?! LOL!
So now, I’m sure they have no job, major fines ahead and/or possibly prison. Very interesting…
