Sarah Palin Gets An Unwanted Author Turned Neighbor
Matt | On 27, May 2010
Sarah Palin took to Glenn Beck’s radio show yesterday pissed off about the new neighbor she’s getting next to her home in Wasilla, Alaska.
Author Joe McGinniss has rented the house next door to Palin’s as he writes his tell-all book, “Sarah Palin’s Year of Living Dangerously,” scheduled to drop in 2011. As a result, Palin’s husband and some others have started building a fence around the property. They are trying to block McGinniss’s line of sight to the family’s compound.
His home overlooks her daughter Piper’s bedroom, Sarah’s garden, and the family swimming area. So, how much scoop could he possibly get on the former governor with that? On top of that, she never SEEMS to be home! Still, he’s writing the book. And while he does that, Palin will be busy burning the midnight oil on her second book coming in November. They must all live on Literary Avenue in little ole Wasilla.
McGinniss has authored a few up-close and personal pieces before about other subjects. His publisher, Broadway Books, claims that he plans to respect Palin’s privacy and will only be researching her public activities. It’s still odd that he’s living next door, but he’s technically done nothing wrong.
Anyone should be rightfully concerned that someone making money off of you is now your new neighbor. It’s just strange all around.
