Chris Christie Says “Gotcha” to the Presidential Race
Matt | On 05, Oct 2011
The jig is up. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a Republican, has finally stopped playing with America’s emotions.
He is not running for president in next year’s race. ::wipes tear::
That lets the other remaining candidates breathe a sigh of relief. Christie, a ‘tell-it-like-it-is’ kinda guy, was becoming more of a threat to the other potential GOP nominees. He was the media’s perfect candidate that would have been an easy replacement for
former favorite Rick Perry.
Christie had it all … executive experience, Republican ideals, a smart mouth, and that world-famous New Jersey attitude that needs 24/7 fine-tuning and censoring. He was large and in charge and didn’t care if you thought he was fat. Hell, he admitted in a gubernatorial debate on TV that he was heavy.
But alas, Christie did not want to take everyone’s dream for him to the finish line. How sad. He was one of the few Republican hopefuls that actually lived in the land of reality.
Now America has to begrudgingly go back to more debates with the same talking points from the same candidates. Why did Christie and/or the media build our hopes up like this only to be let down? This is not fair! lol…
