Dick Cheney Snatches Wigs With New Book, “In My Time”

Former Vice President Dick Cheney has emerged from his evil cocoon to wreak havoc on the American people. It is eerily familiar to his days as
first second-in-command at the White House.
This week Cheney releases a new book titled, “In My Time: A Personal and Political Memoir,” that offers a candid look at his life and work in the White House. The book has the media talking already because of the public shots he fires (no pun intended) at some top Bush Administration officials.
Cheney puts former secretaries of state Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice, as well as former CIA chief George Tenet firmly on his shit list in the book. In an interview with ABC News, Cheney boasted that “heads are going to be exploding all over Washington” once the book hits store shelves.
The former VP wasn’t lying that there would be at least some initial anger about his account of events.
Colin Powell appeared on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday morning to defend himself from Cheney’s “cheap shots,” as he calls them. Powell disagreed with the vice president’s accounts of his departure from the administration and the strategy around the wars in the Middle East.
Whatever the truth is, who can’t miss how odd it is that such a high-ranking official would right a scathing account of their time in office? You always see leaders write more glowing and reflective works in their sunset years. Leave it to bitter Dick Cheney to burn the tradition!
