Gaddafi Bombs Brega to Stop Protests

The situation is still off the hook in eastern Libya where battles rage on with rebels vs. government forces.
The government of dictator, Col. Muammar Gaddafi, bombed the city of Al-Brega in eastern Libya yesterday. The city is a port along the Mediterranean Sea and a distribution point for a lot of the country’s oil. Up to now since the fighting began, the city has been controlled by rebel anti-government forces.
On Tuesday, Gaddafi’s forces attempted to fight the rebels and were beaten back. Observers think the bombing was retaliation for that loss, as well as an attempt to further cause chaos with oil production. The airport in the area was also bombed.
Libyan authorities have already promised that thousands more of their people will die if the United States or NATO enter the country.
I am beside myself that Gaddafi could comprehend bombing his own people. In my research this week, I have found several videos confirming the gory violence going on in Libya, however, I will not post them to this site. That shit was just way too much even on an EMPTY stomach. And those videos were filmed before Wednesday’s attack.
You can thank also Gaddafi’s bombings and this continuing unrest for the high-ass gas prices we have been suffering through lately.
