GOP Candidate Jon Huntsman Will Skip Las Vegas Debate

GOP presidential candidate Jon Huntsman made a grand announcement on Friday morning and he wants all of you to listen.
The former Utah governor will skip next week’s Western Republican Presidential Debate in Las Vegas. The verbal death match will air live on CNN on October 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Honestly, many people watching the debates could really care less if Huntsman is there or not. I think I’ve had more concern for the cameramen at these debates than Huntsman.
His reason is because of scheduling conflicts between Nevada and New Hampshire as to which state will hold their primary first.
In reality, this means that Huntsman is trying desperately to win the New Hampshire primary. He wants to do everything to show deference to their voters. With the current spat between the two states, Nevada could vote in their January primary very close to or even ahead of New Hampshire. Huntsman has several asses left to kiss in the Granite State, so he won’t be going to Nevada next week. If he wins New Hampshire in January, it will be a major boost to his campaign.
On the bright side, Huntsman’s absence may play well in the Las Vegas debate. That’s one less voice we have to hear trying to talk over each other as they give non-answers to all the questions.
