Herman Cain Recorded a Gospel Album?!

| On 12, Jul 2011

Meet Herman Cain ... probably the first presidential candidate that could try out for BET's hit show "Sunday's Best." lol...

I swear Election 2012 is turning out to be funnier with every passing day. I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.

Herman Cain, the lone African-American presidential hopeful on the GOP side, had a bit of his past dug up this week. The man who wants to be your 45th president recorded a gospel album in his former life. Yes, the former pizza chain executive has “Jesus on the mainline!” Can I get an amen up in here?

You can thank the folks over at DraftCain.org, an independent site that supports the candidate, for posting the musical goodie.

When I first heard this news, I believed it. Cain strikes a lot of people as being very “southern” or “country” or whatever some like to call it. He is from Georgia where church is like a second home for some. I guess a few years ago he decided to spread his wings and give his talents back to Jesus in songs of praise. lol…

HALLELUJAH!!! ::shakes tambourine::

Here are a few of the songs for you to browse:
