Mrs. Dorothy Rodham, 92, passed away shortly after midnight on November 1 in Washington, D.C.. Mrs. Rodham was 92 years old. The Clinton family issued the following statement about Mrs. Rodham after her death:
“She overcame abandonment and hardship as a young girl to become the remarkable woman she was — a warm, generous and strong woman; an intellectual; a woman who told a great joke and always got the joke; an extraordinary friend and, most of all, a loving wife, mother and grandmother,” the statement said.
“She leaves behind many friends from all stages and places in her life,” it added.
Mrs. Rodham will be laid to rest in a private ceremony. Our condolences go out to her loved ones.
