House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi Briefly Hospitalized in Rome

| On 21, Mar 2011

Come illness or high water, not too much of anything will stop Rep. Nancy Pelosi from getting her work done.

When in Rome, do NOT do as House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) did and get a case of the “fainting spells.”

Rep. Pelosi is in Rome, Italy to celebrate the country’s 150th anniversary with other members of Congress. Pelosi had to be taken to the hospital briefly today because she was not feeling well. She was said to have had a fainting spell. After evaluation, she was released and sent back to her hotel where she continued with activities on her schedule. Officials are saying that her brief illness may have come from the intense travel she has endured over the past few days.

Minority Leader Pelosi was in Kabul, Afghanistan over the weekend with an American delegation. They met with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, U.S. troops, and military leaders. From there, her trip took her to The Boot.

We need to make sure Nay-Nay is getting her rest and we are not stressing her out too much! lol… Whatever afflicted her, she was still able to dust her shoulders off and continue on her merry way. The fiesty firecracker from San Francisco will turn 71 on March 26.
