House to Vote on Healthcare Reform REPEAL on Jan. 12
Matt | On 04, Jan 2011
The 112th Congress, led by the Republican majority, is feeling themselves right out the gate.
In the House of Representatives, they have announced a vote for next Wednesday, January 12 on a REPEAL of the healthcare reform legislation that was passed on March 23. Yes, these asses want to take away each and every positive and needed change that the law is trying to fix in our broken healthcare system.
Of course, this is a GOP-led effort. Don’t be confused about that. But as of Monday, they are the party in charge in the House, so they can call these types of shots.
Not to worry, though. Senate Democrats have already said that they will vote against ANY repeal of the healthcare legislation when and if it comes up for a vote in their chamber. (Remember: Democrats still control the Senate).
If this is a sign of things to come, it’s going to be a long-ass two years until January 2013. *sigh*
