Iran’s Leader Says God Chooses Their President

In regards to the title, yes, God does ultimately and technically have say in what happens.
I still find it laughable that Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad recently said that God will choose the next leader of Iran and that his people need not worry about that. Really Mahmoud? Is that the bullshit line that dictators are selling now? The reality is that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei technically chooses the president. But, I’m not sure how much “prayer” goes in that decision. :-/
Iran is, of course, a dictatorship that is far from openly allowing God to do His work using all of the Iranian citizens. When it comes to justifying terror and doing whatever closed-door plans the government has then, yeah, God chose the leaders. But, if the citizens start asking questions, then God must not be in that. See how selective they have made God? lol… How convenient!
Ahmadinejad is prevented from running for another term as president because of term limits. It remains to be seen who his successor will be. Trust, however, that “God” is already considering people from Ahmadinejad’s circle.
Something sounds fishy to me. People need to quit blaming the MESS they created on God!!
