Mitt Romney Gets Tim Pawlenty’s Pres. Endorsement

This isn’t earth-shaking news or anything. But, the Republican presidential nominees have a bit of gossip for a Monday morning.
Former presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty has endorsed current candidate Mitt Romney in his quest for the highest office in the land. T-Paw has cited Romney’s experience in leading on the economy and private sector job growth as a major reason for his endorsement. He noted Romney’s executive qualifications as a former Massachusetts governor.
Pawlenty will also join the Romney campaign as a national co-chair, so the suddenly-glowing reviews now make sense. He announced his decision on Fox & Friends on Monday morning, just hours before the much-hyped CNN Tea Party Republican Debate on the network’s rival the same evening.
Mitt’s newest cheerleader side-stepped questions about how he blasted Romney earlier over “Obamneycare” – his hybrid nickname of the government healthcare plans developed by President Obama and the former Massachusetts governor. Now, T-Paw says that he supports Romney’s plan to fully repeal the president’s current plan if he takes office in 2013.
Yeah, yeah, yeah … FLIP-FLOP!
Again, this news is not much to write home about. The GOP candidates are trying their best to gang up on the Texas force known as Rick Perry. I guess this is a good first step, but they have a long way to go.
