Obama Supporters Are a “Threat to the Gene Pool,” Per Rep. Allen West

This should piss off any readers we have that support President Obama!
Florida Congressman Allen West, a Republican, continues in the never-ending race to see how big of an ass he can make himself. Now, he wants to knock the supporters of Barack Obama claiming that they are a “threat to the gene pool” and that he’s reminded of it whenever he sees an Obama bumper sticker.
I can’t name any big leadership initiatives he has stood behind other than inappropriately taking the U.S. flag underwater for a photo shoot. Or, his claim to fame as being the only black Republican in the 112th Congress. Where is his shining legislative example?
Here is an excerpt of what West had to say, per a post I saw on Think Progress:
“I believe we are headed towards the ultimate ideological clash in America. There is a widening chasm which has developed between those who believe in principled fiscal policies and those desiring the socialist bureaucratic nanny-state.
I must confess, when I see anyone with an Obama 2012 bumper sticker, I recognize them as a threat to the gene pool.”
Yeah, Allen can bash Obama supporters all he wants. Meanwhile, he has made no inroads to convince his own people why they should follow HIS lead, join the Republican party, and correct the “mistakes” they claim POTUS is making.
Throwing stones at winners is kinda counter-productive, don’t you think?
