Pres. Obama Presents Purple Heart in Hospital Room

Stories like this are pretty heart-warming and honorable, especially for military veterans and families.
President Obama put scrubs and gloves on over his suit to visit Cpl. Justin Crabbe at National Naval Medical Center. The 22-year-old Marine from Rancho Cucamongo, Calif. recently lost both of his legs and some fingers in Afghanistan on August 26. He was on a mission looking for improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and unfortunately found one.
The president presented Crabbe with a Purple Heart, the oldest and highest honor presented to wounded or killed service members. He and his family were in complete shock that the President of the United States paid them a personal visit. They caught a bit of Obama’s words on camera before he left.
I know the family thought they were dreaming when the Commander-In-Chief walked in, especially in scrubs. That’s a helluva visual…
