I scratched my head when I heard this piece of “news.”
Seems that at least one member of Congress thought First Lady Michelle Obama was not walking the walk when it came to healthy living and fitness. In fact, he took to a local church congregation in Wisconsin to let them know how he felt about Mrs. Obama.
According to Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-Wisconsin), the First Lady has a “big butt.” He felt it was appropriate to bring that up while talking to a small group during a recent visit to St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church in Hartford, Wisconsin.
The members recount Sensenbrenner discussing Mrs. Obama’s anti-obesity push. Then he derided her saying, “but look at her big butt.”
I’m sorry, but I don’t know the First Lady’s ass size off the top of my head. My most recent mental image of Mrs. Obama was of a tall, toned, in-shape, and healthy lady. There is nothing big or obese about her at all.
It really doesn’t matter if she was tripping over her own body weight. Where was the respect? It’s the president’s wife for Christ sake.
Well, some church-goers didn’t think the comment was appropriate either. They shared the moment with the media.
That’s when the Congressman’s back-pedaling and apologies started.
Sensenbrenner has since sent a personal note to the Office of the First Lady at the White House formally apologizing for his comments. He would not share the note with the media. Mrs. Obama’s office wouldn’t comment on the matter either.
He should have written a note to himself as a stern reminder that nothing about his body says Mrs. Obama’s anti-obesity campaign is working. I’m just saying…

He's confusing his lust with health. The first lady is tall, toned, and magnificent. She has an hourglass, with a nice sized rear end that makes her outfits the envy of all women around the world. She's not flat like a pancake, she's got curves! They are natural. She works out daily. He only said it because it's always okay to beat up on black people, women especially in the worlds eyes.
