Rep. Paul Ryan Denies Constituents Access to His Office

Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) seems shadier the more I see him in the public light.
The latest incident surrounds Rep. Ryan’s refusal to meet with unemployed constituents at his Kenosha, WI office. He went as far as to (supposedly) file a formal complaint along with the owner of the building to keep peaceful protesters from coming inside.
Ryan had the doors to the building locked and would only see people that had appointments. Of course, none of the people that disagree with his policies outside were allowed to make appointments. Go figure.
If you remember, Ryan put forward a dead-on-arrival budget plan earlier this year. His idea was to cut far too much spending on social safety net and government programs out of the federal budget. Tax breaks for corporations and the rich, as usual, remained in place. He is the chairman of the House Budget Committee.
Ryan has clearly lost touch with his Southeast Wisconsin roots. He must be blind to the unemployment in the area. All he did was lock the door that the taxpayers sponsor and act like it’s not happening.
