Sarah Palin Attempts to Insult Kathy Griffin

First, she was a governor, then a vice-presidential candidate, and from there a FOX News contributor. Sarah Palin has now added comedienne, roaster, and wig-snatcher of all other comedians that do not agree with her.
The latest of Palin’s outbursts are directed toward Bravo TV “My Life on the D-list” reality show star and comedienne Kathy Griffin. Over the weekend, Palin was asked her thoughts about Griffin in an interview. Here’s was the former governor (i.e., Quitter-In-Chief) had to say:
“She’s a 50 year-old, adult bully, really, is what she is, kind of a has been comedienne, and she can (make jokes about) me, I would just ask for respect to my children,” said Palin.
I don’t know what Kathy Griffin specials Sarah has been watching, but that woman is damn-near hilarious. No one is off limits and her dry humor is pretty funny. Palin is just pissed because Griffin’s jokes about her were accurate. Griffin’s response to the comment was to offer tickets to her upcoming Broadway show to “a fellow reality star,” taking a jab at Palin and her stints in the media.
To be fair, Griffin has made Palin and her family the butt of many jokes over the past few months, as have many TV personalities. Griffin slayed Bristol Palin for all of the weight she gained on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. She also had some words for 16-year-old Willow Palin who thought it would be cool to use anti-gay slurs on her Facebook page.
Sarah Palin should continue to respond to criticism like this. It takes her further away from any hope of becoming president, which is a godsend for me. Responding to snide remarks like these only make Palin look as non-presidential as ever … (i.e., her normal self).
