Sen. Mitch McConnell Makes An Ass Backward Statement About POTUS

Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) must be feeling the titanium set of balls he picked up on November 2 when the GOP won the House and strengthened their Senate minority.
Today in a breakfast meeting hosted by Politico, Sen. McConnell made a strange reference to President Obama’s work with the now more GOP-leaning Congress. When asked if he would work with the president to tackle issues after the State of the Union, McConnell offered some advice for the president.
“If the president is willing to do what I and my members would do anyway, we’re not going to say no,” said the triple-chinned Republican senator from Kentucky.
HAS HE LOST HIS DAMN MIND?! McConnell and the GOP should try to win both houses of Congress and the White House again so they can do whatever they want to again (i.e., run the country back into the ground like Bush & Co. did).
Sen. McConnell said with all seriousness that as long as our Democratic president does what his Republican party wants, then he’ll work with him. Never mind the fact that the president has already said he’ll work with the GOP. I really want this stupidity to sink in with the voters of Kentucky and across the country.
This is the “change” and “accountability” that your leaders are promising in the wake of the Election 2010 “shellacking.” This shit is sad, actually. But, it’s old-guard GOP at their usual unproductive selves.
