Dignitaries and ordinary citizens gathered on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on Sunday to celebrate the dedication of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. They were joined by members of the King family and related nonprofit entities to King legacy.

In case you missed the program, it was a fitting tribute to the civil rights hero. The run of show included politicians, journalists, performers, and even President Obama. There were many speeches, but they were short and to-the-point. Hallelujah! God knew we wouldn’t be able to sit through rambling mess.

The program is over three hours long, but definitely worth at least catching some of the footage.

If you have already seen the footage, what did you think of the dedication?
