Al Sharpton Calls Out GOP Voter Suppression Efforts for Election 2012
Matt | On 03, Jan 2012
Al Sharpton is keeping the pressure on Republicans on his MSNBC show PoliticsNation.
The good reverend is shining more light on the MESS that is the GOP effort to stop the vote ahead of the 2012 election. Republicans are trying to say that voter fraud is “rampant” when only 311 cases have come to light out of 587 million votes cast since 1997. Please help me figure out what the hell their definition of rampant is!
Voter suppression efforts will pick up in 2012. The GOP is throwing in every roadblock they can to prevent a repeat of the mass Democratic turnout of 2008.

Sidenote: You gotta love Al Sharpton. But,the teleprompter is not his friend at all. Check out his pronunciation of “quintuplets.” I also keep feeling like he is not fully using his inside voice when he is on TV. I need his volume and inflection at a little less “March on Washington” and more “Rockefeller Center studio.”
