Armed With a Putter, Obama Golfs His Way to a Milestone

President Obama may be in a for a long haul of an election season. However, he is not going to miss time swinging his 9-iron on links between now and November.
According to CNN, the television press says Obama played his 100th round of golf as president last at Sunday at Beverly Country Club in Chicago. The number sounds high, but it really isn’t considering that he has been in office for nearly 41 months. That’s only 0.41 rounds in a month.
Obama was in the Chicago area over the weekend for the wedding of the daughter of his adviser, Valerie Jarrett.
I do have a word of wisdom for the president. He may want to put the clubs in storage and keep the breaks short and sweet this summer. The voter sentiment out here in America isn’t as favorable to him as it was in 2008. Instead of swinging his driver, he may want to swing around to some of these neighborhoods and convince people to register to vote and take their asses to the polls.
I’m all for taking much-needed breaks and rejuvenating, but he may want to keep that kind of leisure on the hush for a while. lol…
