Bill and Hillary Clinton Get an Airport In Their Name

Former President Bill Clinton and his wife Secretary of State Hillary Clinton now join an elite club of people such as John Wayne, Louis Armstrong, George Bush, and Ronald Reagan, among others.
They have a major airport named after them.
Little Rock National Airport will now be known as Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, in a hat tip to the famous couple who used to live in the city. Mr. Clinton served as governor of the state from 1979-1981 and 1983-1992.
The Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission made a unanimous vote in favor of honoring the Clintons. They noted the economic boost that the former president has had on the area through the Clinton Presidential Center. The site has served as the top tourist attraction for out-of-state visitors and an economic engine for the city, according to TodaysTHV.com.
I think this is a great way to honor Bill and Hillary right in the community where they have had a major impact. With all the post-presidency work that Mr. Clinton has done around the world and the public service Hillary has provided, it’s nice for them to be recognized. They never forgot where they came from.
Go ‘head Clinton Family!
