Did Rick Santorum Call Pres. Obama the N-Word? (VIDEO)

| On 02, Apr 2012

Watch this short clip of GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum on the campaign trail.

As Santorum laid into President Obama last week, notice the slip of the tongue he has when describing the Commander-In-Chief.

To quote Santorum directly, he said:

“We know the candidate Barack Obama what he was like. The antiwar, government nig .. uh .. the America was a source for division around the world…”

Hmmm … did I hear what I was trying NOT to to hear?

This isn’t Santorum’s first slip of the tongue. If you remember, he called out “blah people” when discussing welfare benefits in Iowa in January. It sounded a lot like “black people” to many observers.

From what I’ve seen of Santorum on the campaign trail, I want to say it was a general slip-up. He doesn’t strike me as someone who uses the n-word in regular conversation. I’m not saying it’s impossible. I guess I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt.

ANSWER IN THE COMMENTS SECTION BELOW:

Do you think Rick Santorum slipped up and almost called the president an N-word? Or, are people reading too much into the slip-up?

Thanks to Miss Jia for the heads-up on the Santorum clip!
