First Lady Takes Presidential Delegation to 2012 Olympics

First Lady Michelle Obama means what she says about staying fit and being healthy.
So of course, she took off on Thursday for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. She is leading a presidential delegation of athletes — including Grant Hill, Brandi Chastain, Dominique Dawes, Gabriel Diaz de Leon, and Summer Sanders — to the event.
While in England, Mrs. Obama has a packed schedule. She will attend a reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth II, catch some sporting events, and even headline a Let’s Move event with children of American military personnel and British students.
The Let’s Move event will take place on July 28, which is also the first day of the Olympics. The First Lady wants children back home in the U.S. to get involved as well in Olympic-type games and events to get them active.
Mrs. Obama will also have breakfast with members of Team USA on Friday morning.
Part of me is waiting on opponents of President Obama to cry foul because Mrs. Obama is headed to Europe. You know they HATE when she is there because they like to say she is out of touch with the struggles of the American people. Perhaps since Mitt Romney is also doing a European trip at the same time, then that makes it ok? *side-eye*
