Friend of George Zimmerman Speaks Out on Trayvon Martin Case

I could feel my blood boiling as I watched this video.
Joe Oliver, a friend of accused Trayvon Martin murderer George Zimmerman, spoke out a bit on the case to CBS This Morning on Monday.
In a nutshell, Oliver is taking up for his friend and leaving a bit of doubt about the whereabouts of Zimmerman in relation to Martin on the night of the tragic shooting.
The kicker in the interview came when Oliver commented that the shooting incident ” was not racial.” He must be correct. Calling someone a “f*cking coon” on tape when they walk through affluent neighborhoods is like taking a fruit basket to their house when they move in. *blank stare*
At this point, there is no need to EVER argue about whether or not the incident was racial.
I will not overlook the fact that Oliver is black and just so happens to want to speak out in favor of Zimmerman. Oliver is a former television anchor and reporter who also spoke with Reuters and “Good Morning America” on Sunday.
The PR campaign of the defense is in full effect. They have a well-spoken, media-savvy face who has “known” Zimmerman for the past decade. Oliver already confirmed that Zimmerman’s attorney arranged a call between the defendant and Oliver on Saturday.
Looks like the defense has conveniently pulled out a token black friend of Zimmerman’s now that the African-American community, and the larger American public, is up in arms about the shooting. *sigh*
