Graphic Shows Push Toward Ending Citizens United (PHOTO)

This graphic warms my heart.

If you’re familiar with the Citizens United decision from 2010, then you know how important this map is. In a nutshell, the Supreme court case offered a green light to the ocean of corporate money that now flows into politics.

Citizens United has taken a beating in the press because of how shadowy all the money seems to be. As a result, there has been a push at the state and federal level to overturn the decision.

According to the map, we are 25 percent of the way toward getting rid of Citizens United. Hopefully, with these new electoral wins there will be a continual push toward its repeal.
