Hillary Clinton Won’t Attend the Democratic Natl. Convention

If you keep up with the comings and goings of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, then the headline is yet another example of “state the obvious.”
But, it’s true. Secretary Clinton will be noticeably absent from this year’s Democratic National Convention in Charlotte. As the nation’s top diplomat, she is not allowed to engage in overly partisan political activities. A gathering like the DNC in September is guaranteed to drown out Republican voices for miles around.
So, Mrs. Clinton will sit this one out.
Of course, Hillary’s fans will be sad she’ll be absent. There is growing talk of her running for president in 2016, even against her own claims not to be interested. People generally like her, even as recent as last week with the prominence of the “Texts From Hillary” spoof site. lol..
Not to fear. I’m sure during the convention, Secy. Clinton will be off in some far corner of the world running shit as usual with an effortless hand. I love it!

Do you like Secretary Clinton’s hands-off approach about partisan politics?
Or, do you think she should speak up on some important issues while still in her diplomatic post?
