Is the Obama Administration Politicizing bin Laden’s Killing?

When I saw an article on CNN.com on this topic, I thought my mind was playing tricks on me.
Republicans are actually mad at Democrats and President Obama for “politicizing” Osama bin Laden’s killing last May 1.
The reality is that the GOP is upset that such a big “win” on the international front happened on their opponent’s watch. The GOP was never that upset when they continued to authorize war spending in an effort to catch bin Laden.
The entire “War on Terror”and all of the terrorism efforts surrounding it have been politicized for years. Remember George W. Bush’s “Mission Accomplished” moment or the toppling statue of Saddam Hussein? Politicized.
Presidents and legislators have been elected and re-elected since 2001 based on their perceived handling of terrorism. This is nothing new. I can’t get into this victim mentality when Republicans always use situations for their political gain.

Do you think President Obama and his team have a right to tout the capture and killing of Osama bin Laden as a success of the Administration?
