New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie made an appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Thursday evening.
The recently-popular governor talked about a few topics on the show, including the fallout from Hurricane Sandy on his state.
Stewart pressed Christie, much to my delight, about the blatant flip-flop on his opinion of President Obama leading up to the storm vs. afterward. The governor weaseled his way out of the issue by saying that the storm presented Obama with a real chance to lead — as if the past four years never took place.
It still didn’t answer why as a Romney surrogate he hammered Obama the week before the storm and kissed his ass afterward. But, oh well!
Anyway, Christie is pretty likable in my eyes. He makes sense, even though we don’t agree on everything.
