Mitt Romney Shares His Message With An Empty Detroit Stadium
Matt | On 25, Feb 2012
So Mitt Romney really wants to win the Michigan primary on February 28?
Things aren’t looking good for him if you judge by the ABSENT crowd in Detroit’s Ford Field on Friday. Romney gave a campaign speech there originally scheduled for 1,200 people.
The problem was that he couldn’t find a venue to hold all of the people so they went with the next biggest option …. an entire stadium!
Notice he wasn’t able to fill the seats they DID lay out for his audience on the field. There has to be a venue in Detroit that could hold his crowd his size. He is not Bruce Springsteen.
Even though this wasn’t the original venue, it’s still a bad look for Romney. It seems like no one came out to support the little guy. Oh well!
Note: Could Mitt be paying the price for his 2008 New York Times op-ed where he bashed the auto bailouts for Detroit? Karma’s a bitch!
