NC Man Displays Obama Mannequin Hanging From a Noose (VIDEO)

This image is utterly disturbing.
A man who goes by the name of PatriotPhipps on YouTube was seen outside the North Carolina State Fair recently with a truck full of mannequins “hanging in effigy” as he calls it. The display included President Barack Obama, NC Gov. Bev Purdue, and Senior Resident Superior Court Judge W. Douglas Parsons among others. They all had nooses around their necks.
The guy in the video claims he started the display a few years ago in response to the unsolved closed-case murder of William Henry Phipps. It seems as if he has pressed for the case to be open and completed, but he’s met opposition from several powers-that-be.
So, he hung their mannequins in effigy as a form of protest. He says if George W. Bush was president he would have done the same thing. I don’t quite believe that.
In my mind, this solves nothing for the murder of Mr. Phipps and sends an awful signal to regular people who were simply enjoying the fair. It’s disrespectful and sickening .. but sadly, it’s part of his First Amendment right to free speech.
This should be a stark reminder for everyone to get to the polls this election season. If he can drive around with a truck full of mannequins, then we can do the same to take real people to the polls.
