One thing you can always say about the Obama campaign is they stay ready with a photographer and videographer available 24/7/365.
In yet another video to be released from the campaign titled “Forward,” the team does what they do best … tout their accomplishments.
This particular video is longer than your average 30 or 60-second ad. The idea is to remind the voters of the president’s accomplishments over the past 3.5 years. It also paints Republicans as obstructionists and shows the differences between them and the president.
One of my favorite quotes in the piece came a few years ago from Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) who said:
“Our top political priority over the next two years should be to deny President Obama a second term.”
It’s about time that the American people be reminded of how simply saying NO to everything is not a form of leadership! I’m no fan of McConnell for pulling stunts like this. I believe he owes the voters of Kentucky a hell of an explanation.
Anyway, the Obama campaign will debut the video for a live audience at his re-election campaign kickoff event at The Ohio State University on May 5.
