President Obama opened his can of slick reads after the Republican National Convention officially adjourned on Thursday night.
Earlier in the evening he had been ridiculed by Clint Eastwood in a primetime speech to the convention. The actor and filmmaker “spoke” to an invisible Obama while onstage. Eastwood reminded the crowd that the president hadn’t done his job and it was time for him to leave.
That’s when someone with a smart mouth clocked in on Obama’s team. A response picture was tweeted from the campaign’s Twitter account showing him seated with his back to the camera. His chair was engraved with the words “The President — January 20, 2009.”
The president had the most simple response ever to accompany the picture:
Damn, Romney’s team should feel stupid!
No matter what they say about Obama, he will have held the job they want to have. Facts speak for themselves. Even in his sleep, the president silences his critics. I love it!
