Obama Hosts Brief Twitter Town Hall

President Obama took to the mean streets of social media to get his message out to the American people this week.
He spoke in Newton, Iowa on clean energy policy and decided to take a few Twitter questions that had been submitted earlier. The questions were pretty brief and found the president and participants using a lot of e-lingo to participate.
“What plans do u have to keep us & our fellow smlbiz afloat?,” one person tweeted to the president.
“items on #CongressToDoList puts more $ in folks pockets, which means more customers for you,” Obama said in response.
Clearly, standard punctuation and syntax were thrown out the window. Hey .. it’s Twitter. What can you say?
The president touched on a few other topics such as energy independence, the housing market, and help for small businesses. This town hall was a part of the president’s official schedule and not part of his campaigning duties.
