Obama Makes Heartfelt Speech In Wake of Aurora Shootings (VIDEO)

| On 23, Jul 2012

President Obama took some time on Sunday evening to make a stop in Aurora, Colorado.

The president was there in the wake of the horrific mass shooting on early Friday morning at a local movie theater. James E. Holmes, 24, opened fire during the midnight showing of “The Dark Knight Rises.” Holmes killed 12 and injured another 58 in a cold-blooded rampage as he shot patrons while they watched the film.

Obama made his rounds to several hospitals in the Denver area to visit with victims and their families. While at the University of Colorado Hospital, he made somber public remarks on the tragedy. During his comments, he quoted the Bible and told the heroic story of one of the survivors. He took no questions from reporters.

Continue to keep the Aurora victims in your prayers.
