Obama Makes Voting Pitch at The Ohio State University (FULL VIDEO)

President Obama made yet another trip to his de facto “second home” of Ohio yesterday. He spoke to a crowd of supporters at my alma mater, The Ohio State University.
This was a standard stump speech from Obama and one that we’re likely to hear pieces of from now until November 6. He did focus specifically on education and student loans — two areas likely important to the crowd. He also won some hefty applause on a few mentions of the repeal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy that prevented lesbian and gay soldiers from openly serving in the military.
The cornerstone of his speech was urging the crowd to vote now. Ohio’s early voting window opened on October 2. One of the main ways that both campaigns has tried to shore up support is by getting people to the polls early.
In addition to name-dropping several Ohio cities — including Lordstown, Toledo, and Cincinnati — the president seemed quite comfortable talking to the Ohio audience he’s leaning on for victory next month.
My question is will the Barack Obama we’ve seen post-debate show up to the next gathering on October 16? I hope he learned his lesson that he needs to hit Romney hard because the Republican machine is out for blood.
