Protesters Want Uninsured to Pay for Healthcare Themselves

Here you see protesters outside the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. chanting “Pay for it yourself!”
They want America’s uninsured to pay for their own healthcare instead of receiving basic coverage from the individual mandate of the Affordable Care Act of 2010 .. a.k.a. Obamacare.
Today the Supreme Court is hearing the case of whether or not the individual mandate of the health care law is legal. The mandate would require that everyone have some form of health insurance by 2014 or face penalties.
First off, they don’t even know how to chant in unison. That may help them look a bit more organized.
Second, where are the uninsured going to get money to pay for healthcare? We are still sitting in the midst of 8.3 percent unemployment .. and those are the people we know don’t have jobs. Healthcare costs are astronomical if someone tries to pay for it out of pocket, especially if you have a family. It’s crazy!
The protesters didn’t look that young to me, which leads me to suspect that they may soon (if not already) be eligible for MEDICARE (i.e., government-run health insurance). People ages 50+ kill me protesting against broader coverage on the healthcare rolls, but not ever addressing how and when Medicare should be dismantled.
ANSWER IN THE COMMENTS SECTION BELOW:
Do you think people should have to pay for health insurance out-of-pocket or receive some type of government assistance (i.e., Medicare, vouchers, etc.)?
