Sad Quote From Rick Santorum On Obama’s Marriage News

| On 10, May 2012

Rick Santorum once again is using prejudice to get fundraising dollars. (Photo credit unknown)

Rick Santorum, the former presidential candidate, has let his suffocating views on President Obama’s same-sex marriage announcement be known. I thought he would lose the GOP nomination and go home to think heavily about why he couldn’t beat Mitt Romney.

The following is a sample of how Santorum’s small view of the world killed his chances of becoming president this fall. Here’s what he had to say about same-sex marriage in a fundraising email to his supporters:

Yesterday was clearly a tragic day for America and a tragic day for all those who believe in traditional, conservative values.

President Obama made it abundantly clear that he would rather submit to the radical left of his party in an effort to shore up his reelection chances, than stand firm for one of our most sacred institutions.

But it shouldn’t come as any surprise that President Obama is trying to redefine marriage, because without a doubt he is the most liberal president in American history.” [SOURCE]

Let me remind Loser Rick of something quickly. Liberals make liberal moves. Conservatives make conservative moves. That’s why people have applied those labels to them. Imagine that!

I’m sick of conservatives always defining someone by THEIR measuring stick based on their limited points-of-view. President Obama doesn’t wake and sleep based on how “to the left” a second-rate former GOP candidate thinks he is. Obama is focused on governing and winning the election, neither of which is on Santorum’s plate.
