Secret Service Interviews Ted Nugent About Obama Threat

The Secret Service is actually doing something this week besides buying prostitutes!
They are investigating an indirect threat leveled at President Obama by rock star Ted Nugent over the weekend. In a video by the National Rifle Association (NRA) that surfaced on YouTube, Nugent had the following to say about the president:
“If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year,” Nugent said.
“If you can’t go home and get everybody in your lives to clean house in this vile, evil, America-hating administration, I don’t even know what you’re made out of,” he added. [SOURCE]
Nugent has a long history as an outspoken and fringe conservative. He has never felt the need to filter his political views away from his music.
Well, the Secret Service takes all threats against the president and his family seriously. After hearing the comments, the agents planned to have a chit-chat with Nugent on Thursday in Oklahoma. Nugent confirmed this on Wednesday on Glenn Beck’s radio show.
Nugent is allowed to bring an attorney to the meeting. The agency said they will not comment on any aspect of what happens during their conversation.
Despite the seriousness of everything, Nugent doesn’t seem overly pressed about being interviewed by the Secret Service. He actually praised the agency for the security work they do. Weird, huh?

Do you care about the political opinions of your favorite entertainer(s)?
Or, do you think they need to keep their views separate from their work?
