Soledad O’Brien has been on a roll in the past week.
On Monday, she had former U.S. Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell on her show “Starting Point.” They talked about O’Donnell’s latest efforts to rally young conservatives at the upcoming Republican National Convention.
The two ladies got into a slight crosshairs about the use of the words “Marxist” and “Socialist” when describing President Obama’s policies. Though O’Donnell stands by her descriptions, O’Brien said her words are “not anchored in the definitions of [Marxism and Socialism].”
The point where Soledad sold me on this interview was later when O’Donnell slipped in her self-proclamation that she was a “policy wonk.” when she stopped O’Donnell flatly and with a smirk said:
“So you’re a policy wonk now? When did that happen?”
Damn she got her!
Let me find out that Soledad is letting the people have it first thing in the morning. This was hilarious! It’s good to see more push-back against the standard Republican talking points.
