Tea Partier Gets Put In His Place By Irish President (AUDIO)

Americans tend to think of the Tea Party as the fringe conservative group it is, full of people ready to hate on President Obama at every turn.
But, we aren’t the only ones paying attention to U.S. politics.
It seems that Ireland’s President Michael Higgins also had a few words back in 2010 about the outrageous claims and behavior of the Tea Party. In this audio interview, he butted heads with radio host Michael Graham about the movement and provided some of his thoughts. How did the media miss this one?!
Cheers to President Higgins for standing up for logical thought and pushing back against the Tea Party’s false claims. Mind you, Higgins lived in the U.S. as a student in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. So, his opinions are from a first-hand perspective.
I couldn’t have said this better myself!
