Voters Get Reminder That Pres. Obama Has Tried Dog Meat

This 2012 campaign season is already shaping up to be one of the most petty in history.

The Daily Caller started more bullsh*t in the Mitt Romney “dog-gate” drama by recalling a story that President Obama told in his book “Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance.”

In it, the president mentioned that as a child growing up in Indonesia he tried exotic foods such as dog meat and grasshopper. Obviously, South Asia is different from the United States, including what they consider to be delicacies. The information has been in the public realm since the release of the book in 2004.

So in the middle of people harping on Romney’s treatment of dogs, someone thought it was an appropriate time to bring up Obama eating dog at seven years old.

Instead of talking about real issues, once again, the people surrounding the candidates were taking cheap shots at each other … over dead dogs! Both campaigns, tweeted messages in support of their candidate and how favorably they treat canines. Completely unnecessary!

Like I said yesterday, people (read: Democrats) should have left Mitt Romney alone about how he carried his dog on family vacations back in 1983. At the same time, someone cannot undo what they ate as a child. It’s insane.
