Women Are Not Feeling the Tea Party Much Today (POLL)
Posted on 16. Apr, 2012 by Stevie in Politics / Current Events
This news shouldn’t be too hard to comprehend.
With every passing day, women are becoming more disinterested with the Tea Party. The more they hear about the group, the less they like it, according to a recent Washington Post-ABC News poll.
Women are over the entire movementĀ at a rate of 2-1. That figure was almost an even split in April 2010.
To anyone familiar with the Tea Party, this shouldn’t be a shocker. The group has never been the poster child for inclusion or acceptance. The disgust with the Tea Party gets even worse when you look at African-Americans — who oppose it by a 77 percent margin. When looking at minorities in general, 56 percent of them overall don’t like the group.

Note: The Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted using a random sample of 1,103 adults from April 5-8. The margin of error is +/- 3.5%.
