Confusing Painting Depicts Obama and Others as Buffalo Soldiers (PHOTO)

Sometimes we don’t know when to leave well enough alone.
Check out this African-American art portrait depicting the Buffalo Soldiers, the men that comprised black infantry units from the Civil War and Reconstruction eras.
Look closely though and you will notice a whole lot of wrong with this picture. There are about six generations of famous black people riding these horses. I want to know what would possess someone to paint this. Does Frederick Douglass really need to be riding with Michelle Obama? And why does Rosa Parks (far left) look like a man in the picture? These are the tough questions I have.
For the life of me, I cannot understand why some people insist on mashing all kinds of unrelated black history together for the sake of “art.” I’m all for creative license. This, however, made me need a shot of caffeine. *sigh*
Here are some of the original Buffalo Soldiers.
*Hat tip to @RPinHD for bringing the portrait to my attention.
