Liz Cheney to Run for Senate In Wyoming

| On 22, Jul 2013

The curse of Cheney may strike again.

Liz Cheney, daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, announced on July 16 that she’s running for U.S. Senate to represent the state of Wyoming.

On YouTube, Cheney posted an almost six-minute video announcing her candidacy. Instead of focusing on what SHE can do for the state, she took most of the time trashing President Obama, the federal government, and liberal politicians. (Mind you, her father is partly the cause for the nation’s unfunded wars and debt).

Ms. Cheney has never really lived in the Equality State. She’s been situated mostly in Washington, D.C. and has tried to pull some “residency tricks” to qualify to run for Senate. Sources say she moved to Wyoming in the fall of 2012. She’s decided to jump into political life, seemingly, to keep her father’s trashed political legacy alive.

Current U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi (R) of Wyoming recently told the media that he was surprised to learn of Liz’s plans. The two had spoken before and he said she would tell him if she ever decided to run for the office. Enzi said that at one point he considered her a friend. Well, at least we know now that she doesn’t know how to keep her word. Like father, like daughter.

The two will face off in a primary election on August 19, 2014.

If you like Dick Cheney, I’m told you will LOVE Liz. She seems to be even more conservative than her father. Let’s not forget that her father helped to start two illegal wars and has never once found any real reason why he would change his position on the conflicts. Liz is most likely a Tea Partier’s dream come true.

Wyoming residents need to be vigilant and JUST SAY NO to Liz at the ballot box!
