Melissa Harris-Perry Honors Delta Sigma Theta’s Centennial Anniversary (VIDEO)

Melissa Harris-Perry, host of the self-titled MSNBC show, paid homage to her beloved sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., on the closing segment of her show on Sunday morning. She spoke of the impact the historical organization has had on her and its strong roots in politics. The sorority, founded by 22 black women at Howard University in 1913, turned 100 on Sunday.
The idea that Harris-Perry continues to integrates topics not often covered on Sunday mornings makes me want to watch even more.
Happy Centennial year to all the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta!
