Michelle Obama Checks Rude Protester In Face-to-Face Exchange

Michelle Obama let her “south side of Chicago” out on Tuesday. It doesn’t look like the scene was pretty either.
Speaking at a Democratic Party backyard fundraiser at a private home in Washington, D.C., Mrs. Obama’s speech was interrupted by someone shouting at her. Ellen Sturtz, of the group GetEqual, began yelling at the First Lady for her husband to sign an anti-discrimination executive order.
Well, it doesn’t seem that Obama took too kindly to being interrupted.
Mrs. Obama left the podium and her prepared remarks and approached Sturtz face-to-face. Rut roh! According to pool reporters who were present, she said the following:
“Listen to me or you can take the mic, but I’m leaving. You all decide. You have one choice,” Obama said.
She went on to later say to the general crowd, “One of the things that I don’t do well is this [interruptions] … Do you understand?”
This is exactly how effortless I knew she could be in shutting down someone who crosses her. I LOVE IT!
Unfortunately for the free world, there was no video available from the exchange. Damn! I would have signed over a paycheck to see the first lady go toe-to-toe with someone.
According to The Washington Post, Sturtz paid $500 to attend the fundraiser. She is also a past contributor to President Obama’s 2008 campaign and the Democratic Party.
I bet Sturtz won’t interrupt another of Mrs. Obama’s speeches after having her ass handed to her like that. Please believe that Shelly does not play!
